About Amanda

Hi! I'm an executive producer, content strategist, filmmaker, five-time Emmy Award winning producer and fourth-generation photojournalist. Prior to founding my own production company, Electric Yolk Media, I spent over a decade writing and producing for NBC's Today Show. During that time, I was also awarded with several Edward R. Murrow Awards, National Headliner Awards and a Gracie Allen Award. My documentary, Jews of the Wild West, is currently airing on PBS stations across the country and streaming on Amazon Prime, iTunes and Kanopy. I'm a strong believer that storytellers should help amplify voices that may have been previously marginalized. I would love to hear from fellow creatives working on and representing documentary films.
