My name is Jim Marbury & I'm a filmmaker with decades of experience across development, production, and distribution. Film has been my life’s work—I’ve studied it as an artist, worked in every stage of the process, and built a career around storytelling. Right now, I’m focused on developing Beacon Valley, a cosmic horror series that blends suspense, dark humor, and Lovecraftian mystery. To bring it to life, I’m producing a series of short, high-impact teaser films as proof-of-concept projects, showing the world what this story can be.

Beyond my own projects, I run an informal Freelance Work Space, a remote filmmaking initiative where I offer script consulting, editing, and creative development for indie filmmakers. I love working with others to shape compelling, cinematic stories—whether that’s through writing, directing, or post-production.
