Michael, a lifetime member of the Dramatists Guild of America, made his writing debut at the Davidson Valentini Theatre in Los Angeles with the first public reading of his play, The Waiting Room. He is known for his unique writing style and interests, particularly his advocacy for LGBT-themed characters, psychological suspense, and fantasy. In 2020, he completed his first novella and several short stories, composed over 60 poems, and produced his first chapbook. His early work as a specialty puppet and costume designer for entertainment spans 33 years in NYC Theater and Los Angeles with NBC Studios in Burbank. Michael has taken courses on Writing for Animation, Screenplay, and the Stage. He currently resides in West Hollywood.
