Maya Baskin is a Chinese-American horror/thriller screenwriter. She was adopted from Wuxi, China and moved to the United States as an infant. Her imagination was larger than the ocean while growing up, and today she likes to take that and focus her storytelling on themes such as the supernatural and mysteries of life. She earned her B.A. in Cinema at Virginia Commonwealth University.
