After studying art and photography in college Jason was spotted by London model management So Dam Tuff. He spent six years modelling, with work ranging from live fashion shows to TV and photographic. He cut his professional teeth working with multinational clients such as Jordache Jeans, C&A, Aston Martin and photographer/filmmaker Antony Armstrong-Jones (Lord Snowdon).
In 2010 Jason studied scriptwriting at Newport University. In 2012 he was awarded a Masters scholarship, graduating MA Film merit in 2014 from the University of South Wales. With a solid background in visual narrative storytelling he’s now actively looking for interesting commercial writing/directing opportunities outside of his own projects.
An award winning graphic illustrator, Jason’s illustration work has featured on the front cover of street papers world wide. His photography combined with Illustration won first place in the prestigious International Network of Street Papers front cover design contest to mark the United Nations International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The design appeared on the front cover of street papers and magazines in over 40 countries.
Walkers/Doritos Comedy Advert: His ‘Tao of Flicking’ Doritos advert was the concept behind the full production advert ‘Dip Desperado’ which went on to win a glut of international advertising awards including British Arrow Craft Awards.
Jason has been involved in many aspects of filmmaking from sound and camera to writing directing and producing. Films he’s been involved with have screened in various international film festivals around the world among them: Aesthetica film festival; Santa Monica International Mini Film Festival; London Fashion Week and TV channels BBC One Cymru and S4C.
Unique traits: I can whistle... just not as well as some people. That's probably not very unique. I’ll try to think of something else.
