After getting a degree in architecture and working in NYC for a decade, Dan came to the conclusion he wasn’t going to have his own firm and didn’t want to spend the rest of his life working on other people’s ideas. He wanted others to work on his. So he studied screenwriting at NYU. Along the way he’s worked as a story analyst for 3 companies including Disney, and freelanced as a 3D animator and photographer.
His first script was optioned and Tranquility Base, a sci-fi space thriller, sold to Fox and went into development at Scott Free. He’s a two-time Finalist in The Tracking Board Launch Pad Feature Competition, a PAGE Gold Medal winner, and won the Vail Film Festival screenplay competition. He’s also shot several documentary shorts.
Dan currently lives in NYC. In the past he’s been represented by Brooklyn Weaver at Energy Entertainment and APA. He has 6 screenplays, an hour-long dramedy Pilot, and a pitch for a second TV show.
