My art inspires compassion.

I’m a creative catalyst who develops resourceful solutions to stubborn challenges. I build strong relationships so that everyone on my team pulls in the same direction, nurtures each other, and creates their best work.

The only thing I enjoy more than filmmaking is teaching, especially when my students go further than they ever imagined.

Selected credits:

• Producer of Roboflight (aka Cyberspace in Your Face), a spoof that aired on SyFy for four years, won festival awards and was shown at the Dallas Museum of Art.

• Producer of Where Heaven and Earth Touch, a set of documentaries about ordinary heroes — people who found their calling by helping others. This U.S./Israeli co-production stirs viewers to say, “Oh, if she can do that, I can too!”

• Writer/Director of Time to Choose, a film about domestic violence. I distilled research to create a compelling emotional story … about a mannequin. It was hailed as “a powerful teaching tool” by Stop Child Abuse Now.

• Through brainstorming, research, writing, and editing, I helped to develop MilitaryKidsConnect.org, whose videos help children cope after a parent is injured or dies. It was the first U.S. Department of Defense website for children in active, reserve, and National Guard military families. My team partnered with therapists to create true communities for children (ages 6-18).

I’ve also turned my lens to Marie Curie and her wildly accomplished daughters Irene and Eve. Marie, of course, was the single mom who saved a million lives and transformed science. My nascent documentary shows that she was a remarkable mother who connected deeply with her children through science. Here’s my view of their relationship:
“In the 20th century, radium was measured in ‘curies.’
But that’s just wrong.
Curies should be how we measure love.”
