A young Asian woman believes she is Black and tries to make a video to prove it to get a scholarship to an all-Black University in the South. 

SYNOPSIS:

A young Asian woman stops at nothing to discover her Black Soul as she talks with people from all walks of Black culture to finish her videos to be accepted into the PROVE IT video contest for all applicants for an all-BLACK Howard and Mississippi BLACK COLLEGE scholarship. She has to convince her family and grandmother who directs her to befriend an older Black woman who opens up the world of music. She discovers food, new friends, and even family secrets buried in the past.
