Writing is life and life is writing! I have been blessed to be able to part of teams to see my vision and the visions of others come to life. I went from signing out cameras from the community center to finally getting a big break with a Land Rover COMMERCIAL and used my check to buy my own camera and taking writing courses in LA.

From short films and working for features at production offices I have been able to learn with 1000+ hours experience. I like being a self-starter while pitching stories in LA, where I was living in Canada or from Asia, I would fly back 2X a year summer and or fall to pitch new and wonderful ideas. I started taking ideas and producing them quickly. And that has lead me to shooting over 20 short documentaries and 4 features.

Two of my biggest influences recently would be DON'T BREATH and GET OUT for breaking new ground in film-making. As a filmmaker and writer of color this is important to always be telling stories from new points of view. But collaborating with others is the only way to get things done. I have been fortunate to represent THE WALKING DEAD in Asia in promos here that won an award for Fox International. And my latest Doc short shot during the earthquakes in western Japan called: LOVE LETTER TO KUMAMOTO have won 2 awards (including being a semi-finalist in 2023).
Currently working on a DRAMA SCI-FI on AI being used for good. in a series called the DEVICE
