About Bonnie

I retired from law in late 2019 with plans to travel. When the pandemic quashed a number of very cool trips planned with my wife, I returned to an old hobby that I had put in the back of a drawer during my working years: I finished writing two novels I began writing over twenty years ago - "Miss Minnie's Boarding House" (an historical family saga) and "Angel's Brew" (a legal thriller). While watching Trump’s second impeachment trial, I was inspired to write my first comedy screenplay, "The Third Impeachment Trial of Donald J. Trump.” And, since then, I have completed my first dramedy screenplay, "Chicken Tenderized," which I am now "revisioning" as a limited series for streaming. I am delighted that my screenplays and novels have placed in a number of international competitions as best first-time screenwriter, chosen participant, semi-finalist, quarter-finalist, preliminary finalist, long list finalist, and finalist. Writing has become my soul-filling retirement career. My book of vignettes and snapshots about women's lives and relationships, "The Lines In Her Face," was published in 1995. My stories and photographs have also appeared in a number of anthologies and magazines. And I am currently selling my photography as stock photos on Adobe and Shutterstock. Living a life of creativity sure beats the heck out of practicing law!

As a young woman, she gradually confronts and cuts the binds of convention that stifled her, finally choosing her own profession, her own sexuality, her own happiness.
