About Ailish

Born in Ireland, Ailish is an award winning actress and film maker. She has played leading and classical roles in many theatres such as The National, London, The Lyric, Belfast and The Gate, Dublin. She has worked under Enda Walsh, Nicholas Hytner and Alan Stanford, to name a few. In recent years, she produced, wrote and co-directed short films under her production company, LionBear Films. All of which have had successful runs in film festivsals worldwide, picking up awards including, Runner up Prize (Raindance Film Festival, London) Best Picture (Hollywood Gold Awards) Best Cinematography (Women's International Film Festival) and Best Leading Actress (Rome Prisma Awards).
