Olga Holtz is a trilingual and multinational writer/director/academic. After studying film-making at the Berkeley Digital Film Institute, she honed her writing skills in ScreenwritingU ProSeries and Master Screenwriter Certificate programs, in professional screenwriting workshops and writing intensives by Corey Mandell, and in Jacob Krueger Studio's ProTrack with Pulitzer Prize nominee Stephen Molton. Her award-winning directorial debut "The Zahir", a magic realist short thriller, has screened at festivals worldwide. Her scripts have placed at over 90 contests including Austin, PAGE Awards, Final Draft Big Break, HollyShorts, ScreenCraft, WeScreenplay, and, each, on The Red List. Outside of film, Holtz is a professor of mathematics in Berkeley and Berlin with numerous accolades, including over Euro 3 Mil in research funding.
