Artistic pursuit requires persistent curiosity and evolution. Over the years I have traveled down many avenues of creativity. I began as a model and learned the art of speechless expression, much like silent film. Modeling was also a vehicle to see the world and kickstarted my passion for language and culture. Every day is filled with discovery as an actress and voiceover artist, continually unearthing perspectives beyond the quotidian. And most recently, I have joined forces with dear friend and colleague Nan McNamara to boost the presence of roles for over-40 women in television and film by writing content of our own. We have two original and captivating scripts, a romance dramedy called Second Time at Bat and a thriller called Where There’s a Will under our belts, both featuring over-40 female protagonists. As a Cuban-American I am interested in dispelling the blanket-like attitudes directed toward Latins. As a trilingual artist, fluent in Spanish and French I am especially drawn to the idea of working internationally.
