I've just graduated with a Master's in Screenwriting from Edinburgh Napier university and I'm keen to use the tools learned to write scripts for TV and film.
I have been working within the film, television, theatre and radio industries on and off for over 30 years. I'm based in West Lothian but work throughout Scotland. I work with a select pool of talented and professional people, which makes a formidable team, and helps to create fantastic and innovative content. But above all, we have fun. Having fun is integral to the collaborative business of creating. On our shoots, there is never a dull moment.
After a variety of jobs (writing, directing and featuring in various theatre plays, stand up, acting in several films, adverts and television productions) I decided to concentrate on working behind the camera. So, I began a 4-year degree course at Napier's film-school in Edinburgh. After graduating with honours (photography, film & television) I moved to London to work with independent producers, directors and actors; collaborating on two feature films as a production manager and first assistant director. Then working with others to direct, produce and co-write numerous short films and radio plays.
I am now attending Napier University to complete my MA Screenwriting course.
