William Major

Born and raised as a Navy Brat in San Diego, California, William S. Major's upbringing was nurturing, with an emphasis on Academics and forging a strong work ethic. Raised by two socio-politically aware parents who constantly fed him as well as his brother and his two sisters a steady diet of politics, art, religion, science and music. William S. Major started writing at 13 but only pursued writing as a hobby because he didn't believe that writers could make a decent living. "...because I assumed that anyone with a pen and a piece of paper could write." William has always been a student of Cinema, going to school for Television and Film at San Diego City College in 1990. Later, he published an entertainment magazine in Northern California from 2002 through 2006 but his passion had always been film. William started studying screenwriting in 2009 and started writing with a passion. Alongside his writing partner Shaun Davis, William S. Major has written a number of screenplays and several novels, and we see great things in his future because he says he is just getting started.
