About Virginia

Gina's love of film began as a young child on a steady diet of Spielberg films. After graduating from the University of Central Florida's film program and moving to LA, she wrote several screenplays and directed two short films, while working for two major studios.
Gina brings a strong sense of story and character as a writer, and uses her directing knowledge and experience to craft films with a carefully composed visual style.

She currently lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband, writing mostly spooky and funny stories, while raising two kick-ass future final girls.

Film (short) (Drama) Writer/Director A Serbian man (NIKOLA) whose family was killed during the political uprising in Srebrenica in the 1990s. One day as he works alone in his tiny workshop, he discovers one of his puppets has fallen over a picture of his deceased son (PAVLE). Nikola believes that the puppet is his son returned from the dead. We watch as Nikola re-connects with his lost son and, in the process, his own humanity.
