20 years ago, I wrote a couple screenplays and worked for a small 3D effects shop. I loved it, but life took me in another direction.

Since then I've had a successful technology career doing software engineering, design, UX/UI, and product management. Sold two startups to public companies. The most recent was a short term rental startup in the multifamily industry acquired by Expedia Group in 2018. I've written and published a mystery novel titled Amontillado. And I've continued my filmmaking pursuits as an occasional hobby.

But now I'm diving head first back into the filmmaking world.

I'm in the process of spinning up an animation studio with a friend who has spent his career in the space. I'm also creating a live production company to produce my own projects and to help other people tell their own stories in their own voices.

My filmmaking and animation network is as limited as my industry knowledge, so I'm hoping to meet new people and learn as much as I can. There's nothing I find more fun and rewarding than creative problem solving alongside a team of smart people with shared goals.
