About Carlos

I am a film composer and electronic music artist from Brazil. I've composed scores for TV documentaries and award-winning short films such as "Velinhas" (Candles), selected for the Berlin International Film Festival.

In 2020, I've worked on the score of "Sagrados & Profanos" (Sacred & Profane), an eight episode documentary series featured at FashionTV Brazil. In the same year, I've also produced and directed an animated web series called "The Ghost Writer Show", besides doing its score and sound design. The production won awards in several film festivals in the United States, including Hollywood, in the categories of best original score and best web series.

My musical work has been exhibited in festivals like FILE - Electronic Language International Festival, in São Paulo, Brazil. I am also part of an electronic music duo called Hot Soft, with producer Renan Schmidt. Our music has been featured in VA compilations and EPs released by Brazilian labels.
