An adult orphan and her jilted lover investigate a murder that leads them to her own nightclub run by her tragedy forged family, putting them in danger forcing her to invoke her custom tailored morality carrying out the duty of fate.

SYNOPSIS:

Chief Maggie McMahon wakes Tartan from a dream and brings her into a crime scene of a murdered hotel manager Hunter, where she finds a snake etched bullet casing and Ryan, the firefighter who's marriage proposal she refused 5 years earlier. Realizing her intuition tried to prepare her for this, Together Tartan and Ryan investigate the crime and come across the name Adder. He's a ruthless, small time, teen, pimp climbing the ranks of the underworld. Tartan reluctantly reconnects with Godfrey, her former lover and gun expert. He leads her to her nightclub Blue Js, she owns with her life long friends Jacques and Jade. They confirm that Adder is who Chief McMahon is looking for. After Adder threatens Jade, he makes a visit to the club and sets off a spiral of violence that Tartan has to stop, ignoring Ryan and Godfrey's advice to let it alone. Tartan can't. If fate and duty had a dream it would be Tartan Rose.
