I have been writing and drawing since grade school. I married in high school to a man who was terminally I'll. Between strokes and heart issues he ended up bedridden the last 5 years of his life and I was working 3 jobs to keep up on medical bills and as a result my writing career took a backseat. When he passed I quit 2 of my jobs and focused more on my writing and my art. I have since published 2 novels, a children's book, a coloring book and a short story. My first novel, The Dark Lady, won the 2014 Shut up and Read Readers Choice Award. I have several novels in the final stages of editing and several new children's books in various stages of completion.
