Marah Halvorsen

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York (now an honorary South Carolinian), I've been writing for as long as I could hold a pen (that might be a slight exaggeration... but close enough).
I'm currently attending Los Angeles Film School for my Bachelor's in Science in Writing for Film and Television.
While I am not new to the art of writing, I am to the screenwriting and production process.
And taking to heart the advice of the always hilarious and talented Tina Fey, I've been dipping my toe into the acting world, as well. She encouraged all aspiring screenwriters to take an acting class so they can better understand what they are asking of the artists bringing their words to life. As it turns out, that was not only insanely good advice, but something I really enjoy as a creative outlet.
I so look forward to learning from all of you and taking the plethora of guidance and words of wisdom to heart to better my craft.
