Growing up in the Canadian Prairies, B.C. Bell felt like an outsider to the world beyond. Imagining past the here and now kindled a love of both history and speculative fiction, fuelling B.C.’s current screenwriting focus: outsiders compelled to challenge the status quo, whether on a local or a cosmic scale. B.C. and his wife Hildy are parents to a blended family of five kids, all of whom are way cooler than their nerdy dad.
