Gillian Tan

Gillian Tan is the founder of TV production company Munkysuperstar Pictures and the online TV channel Clicknetwork. She has an extensive directing portfolio including 11 TV shows, 35 online shows, and multiple online numerous spanning over 19 years. Her directing portfolio includes genres from reality shows and documentaries, to scripted comedies and dramas.

Born and raised in Singapore, Gillian moved to the Bay Area for college and ended up staying there for 7 years. She started her broadcast TV career in San Francisco at ad agency TBWA\Chiat\Day. When she moved back home in 2003, she brought her love for American reality shows with her, making a splash as the Creator-Director for Singapore’s first English reality show.

Constantly pushing creative boundaries with her TV shows, Gillian later became one of the pioneers of online video content in Singapore. In 2007, she started Clicknetwork - a YouTube channel that made history by being the first in Singapore to reach one million subscribers. Clicknetwork produces shows across a range of topics like beauty, fitness, food, reality, documentary, short films, and a whole lot more.
