LoLo Paige

LoLo Paige is an award-winning author and a former wildland firefighter, having fought fire in Montana, Alaska, and California. Her romance books have won Romance Writers of America (RWA) contests, and her debut novel, Alaska Spark has received several awards, including a 2020 Indie B.R.A.G. Medallion, an Eric Hoffer, and a Next Generation Independent Publishing award. Alaska Spark finaled in the 2021 Page Turner Awards, in the Adaptation to Film category. It has ranked No. 1 on Amazon Bestseller Lists for romantic suspense and action-adventure romance in global markets, including the US., Canada, and Australia. Her Anchorage Press story, “Embers of Memories,” about wild land firefighting in Alaska, won a 2016 Alaska Press Club award.

After a lifetime of acting onstage and in a few Hollywood movies, LoLo began writing plays and screenplays. Several of her plays have had staged readings in the play lab at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez, Alaska. Her first, "Evacuation," placed 4th as a semi-finalist in the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. LoLo is a former wildland firefighter, so now writes about it. Her two novels, "Alaska Spark" and "Alaska Inferno" have won several Indie awards for romance and fiction, and have ranked No. 1 in Canadian, Australian and U.S. markets on Amazon. The highlight of her theatre work was performing in "Six Degrees of Separation" for the playwright, John Guare.

The Page Turner Awards, an international screenplay and writers competition, recently announced that LoLo's debut novel about wildland firefighting is a finalist in the Adaptation of Novel to Film category. Talk about motivation to write screenplays!

She writes Romance because during these uncertain times people are hungry for happy endings and that's what I provide. In my romantic suspense stories, I take readers to the edge, but I won't push them over it.
