About Matt

I love telling stories and capturing images.

I'm the owner and senior producer of Missing Peace Productions (dba/Matt Anderson Films). I'm a Director, Editor, DP and voice talent who has produced TV and radio programming that has reached around the world. He has produced TV/Film projects on Capitol Hill and inside San Quentin Prison along with a variety of commercials, corporate promotional pieces and now I'm getting into doc films.

I spent 20 years working in radio as an on-air radio host, program director and production director. Some of my station stops include Radio One (WKYS, Praise 104.1 & Majic 102.3 in DC) and (WERQ-FM, WWIN-AM/FM and WOLB-AM in Baltimore). CBS Radio in DC (WPGC-AM), Salem Communications’ WAVA-FM. I also served as a Commercial Producer for all of SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s talk channels (CNN, NASCAR, The Oprah Winfrey Network and Major League Baseball Network, etc.)

Some of my television/film work includes Urban One Honors on TV One (editor & BTS DP), BET’s “Joyful Noise” and “Sunday Best”, the Congressman John Lewis documentary (DP), and the NAACP’s 2018 national register to vote campaign (director/editor). Currently, I'm producing a documentary film on fatherhood entitled “The Gift of His Presence” which features NBA All Star Gary Payton, Tracy Martin of the Trayvon Martin Foundation and Grammy Award winning producer Narada Michael Walden among others.

Unique traits: Innovative creative director/shooter/editor. I like to do more with less and even more with MORE! Gadget geek and storyteller.
