Odilia Rivera-Santos is an AfroPuerto Rican writer, screenwriter, poet, and editor. Rivera-Santos holds a degree from Smith College, in literature and writing, an MA from UPenn in positive psychology. Her poetry, fiction, and nonfiction have appeared in online and print journals and anthologies, her plays and monologues have been performed onstage in NYC, and she is currently doing research for a documentary on Puerto Rican artists. Rivera - Santos is especially interested in creating roles for BIPOC performers and hopes to meet collaborators for projects. She considers funding and marketing to be crucial to any collaborative creative team because artists must learn to generate income to fund projects and pay artists. Rivera-Santos is interested in working as a writer or researcher on a creative project and is open to discussing work and payment for services.
