I've always been in love with storytelling and began song writing at the age of twelve.
I'm Irish, but spent much of my childhood in London.
A "riches to rags" childhood, this taught me many harsh lessons, which I believe has given my writing a rawness I hope never to lose.
I was a professional Singer for many years and performed in a number of shows, sang Lead in different bands and collaborated with some amazing artists.
While I never had vocal training or stage school, my family was very musical (and eccentric) so I guess it was in my blood. I still sing, write and record.
I left home at a young age and began to travel, I backpacked my way around the world, which has given me an insight into human behaviour.
Over the lockdowns I decided to teach myself the art of Screenwriting, and I've done nothing but write since. I have apparently found my voice and I'm quite funny too, which is good to know!
I tick a few "Diversity" boxes, but in all honesty, I'd rather achieve success without having to get ahead by divulging my personal life or background.
My first completed feature is a female driven drama/action/comedy and is gaining momentum and I am looking for a Producer/Director to work with on this now.
My current work in progress is a drama/comedy mini-series set in Ireland :-)
