Storytelling Expert with over 10 years of experience translating complex information about culture and media into compelling visual and written narratives. Known for identifying the potential of an idea and collaborating with creatives and executives to find solutions and make that idea reality. Insatiably curious and enthusiastic.
I'm something of a nomad, having lived in seven states in the U.S., and three countries in Africa and North America. After getting my PhD in Art History and working as a college professor for several years, I decided to break from academia and channel my skills in screenwriting and visual storytelling, primary research, and analysis into television and entertainment. See the Links section below and check out my blog on the entertainment industry, screenwriting, and some of my favorite streaming television!
I host and help produce A House for Arts (AHA!) on WMHT, a PBS affiliate in eastern New York, where I brainstorm episode themes, edit scripts, make recommendations for dailies, and source and research talent for our weekly program on the capitol district’s thriving arts scene. You can watch streaming episodes of AHA! on our website in the Links section below.
Nothing excites me more than working with others to make a project reality, from development, to current series, to post-production, so feel free to reach out!
