Louise Spraggon

Louise has worked in the UK and Aotearoa across a number of creative fields, including radio, animation and film.

She has experience as a writer, director, assistant director, a development producer and stop-motion animator. She has worked with companies including Hot Animation, Channel 4 Television, The British Film Institute, Power Rangers and Warner Brothers.

She has written and directed short films and had her film work broadcast and exhibited nationally and internationally. She also has extensive experience in the education sectors in New Zealand and the UK, having worked as a tertiary lecturer, secondary school teacher, and workshop facilitator with museums and galleries, teaching film-making skills to students, teachers and professional artists.

Louise works in the New Zealand film industry as an assistant director, and safety officer and she is working actively to turn her love of storytelling into a writing career.
