Adam Shatwell

I am based in Manchester, UK. I have been working in the Film industry for the last 3/4 years as a sound recordist, sound assistant and boom operator for independent feature films and short films as well as sound recordist for commercial and corporate shoots.

I have also worked on many short films in post production as a sound editor, designer and foley artist.

I have been writing on and off since I was young, but now have decided to focus that creative output specifically into screenwriting now I have worked within the industry. Perhaps with a view to trying my hand at directing eventually, but a step at a time is how I'm navigating this, instead of trying everything at once; my usual downfall.

I hope to connect with like minded indivduals, help anyone in anyway I can and hopefully get some feedback on my own projects.
