Hi! My name is Ana Peres. I am 22 years old, and I live in Brazil. I have an associate degree in Creative Writing and two minors, one in Film Production and one in Screenwriting, from a local university, PUCRS. I have partaken in a few screenwriting online courses. In 2020, I attended the online course ‘Writing a TV Spec: Part 1 and 2’ at Vancouver Film School. I went through a selection process at the beginning of 2021 to be a part of the ‘TV Writing: Crafting Your Pilot’ course at Sundance Collab, and I was one of the selected writers. My pilot, Loss&Vice, was one of the 2022 finalists for the screenwriting lab, The Orchard Program. I studied acting at the part-time British school, Identity School of Acting, for three terms. I am a feature writer for the movie and television website MovieWeb. I was accepted into the eight-month Professional Program on Writing for Television, at UCLA this past fall.
