Calvin Cearley

After a 15 year career in Marketing and Advertising, Cearley is pursuing his life-long goal in Film and TV writing and production. In 2021 he completed his first pilot, a 1-hour thriller/horror limited series titled, "The Raging." Currently working on his first feature based on a story idea by the Duffer Brothers, as well as his next TV pilot thriller based on a classic short story that recently hit the public domain.

While the first outings lean in the horror and thriller genres, as well as tinged with Spielbergian 80's nostalgia, Cearley's style seeks to subvert genre. "I'm more interested in blurring the lines between audience expectations and showing them something new." - Cearley, 2022
