Rick Dumont

I've been an actor since 2003 when I started on stage and have continued to hone my skills in film and television character development since. I joined the Screen Actors Guild in 2015 and frequently travel to NYC for roles and am expanding that to DC and LA later in 2021. I enjoy exploring the depths of a character and finding them within me in order to bring forth the best possible performance for my fellow actors as well as the director and producers.

I also have a small boutique production company, Sweaty Turtle Entertainment, that also travels across the country for projects. My team and I have produced several feature films, shorts, PSA's, promotional etc etc etc.. over the last 10 years and have projects that have won a few film festivals. I also produce, provide locations management/scouting, casting and the like for others projects. I've worked as a key pa, scripty, bts photog and videographer, researcher and production assistant on a number of television projects including: Behind the Music, DWTS, The Daily Show, Judge Jerry and other History and Travel Channel projects in recent years.

I also have produced live events as fundraisers for area non-profits that work to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking and abused animals. Concerts, galas and an off-Broadway play have been among the events.

I am currently working on several documentaries and a true crime limited docuseries.
