Sybil Pennix

On the edge, Sybil Pennix brings a wealth and over a decade of experience and imagination to the world of celebrity styling. She has been an imager and stylist for music stars, a costume designer for movies, styled “7th on 6th” fashion shows, managed her own group and took them to platinum status and has conquered countless other endeavors in the fashion, music and movie industries. After acquiring a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Sybil’s dream of starting her own modeling agency, led her to New York City. While working odd jobs all over the city, she started doing her homework in the music industry, all the while acquiring great contacts. This soon landed her a job as P Diddy’s assistant at Uptown Records. As his assistant, she learned the ways of the world of entertainment and immediately got her first chance to prove herself in the fashion realm. P Diddy asked her to “go shopping” for his new artist Mary J Blige. With a flare for fashion and the strong passion to engulf the opportunity to illustrate her innovative side, Sybil showed her boss that she was capable of creating a unique image for his new artist. History was made and she became Mary's and Uptown Records’ exclusive (house) stylist and Director of Artist Development. When P Diddy and Andre Harrell (then CEO of Uptown Records) went their separate ways and Mr. Harrell moved over to Motown Records, he took her with him and made her VP of Artist Development (she was still Director of Artist Development at Bad Boy Records). During that same period, she discovered, developed, imaged and signed the group TOTAL to P Diddy at Bad Boy Records with a successful platinum 1st album. After styling, etc for over 10 years in NYC, she has since relocated to Atlanta, GA where she is still making moves in all the industries and pursuing a successful entrepreneurship. “Blending fashion with life” is what Sybil does best for her clients.” When you’ve done your best, you’ve helped bring them to their most confident state and you’ve made the world understand exactly who that artist is!
