I'm an award-winning screenwriter and producer, having most recently produced “Elvis of the Yukon” (working title, currently in post-production), “La Mitad Del Mundo,” a Spanish-language documentary about sex trafficking in Ecuador (currently in film festivals), in additional to various commercial works.
Having previously worked in live broadcast production (WGN and WCIU in Chicago), a major strength I bring as a producer is getting things done quickly, professionally and on-budget. I'm highly organized, very comfortable with ShowBiz Budget software, run my life in spreadsheets, am a pro-active communicator, a natural connector of people, and love the challenge of making directors' big ideas happen. I also love working on the promotional and strategic distribution aspects of projects I've worked on, too.
My screenwriting work has been shortlisted by the London International Screenwriting Competition, the Oxford Script Awards, and the British Independent Film Festival, and has won best screenplay at Los Angeles TV, Script & Film Festival and the Rome Prisma Film Festival. My writing also appears in various news publications including the academic text, "Independent Female Filmmakers: A Chronicle Through Interviews, Profiles, and Manifestos” (Routeledge, 2018).
