Adriana VelBac

Adriana is a brand and fashion designer with a sustainable focus since 2005 and online blogger and writer, since 2012. Before that, she used to be a fashion model studying her Bachelor in Arts Graphic Design. Then, for 15+ years she was a graphic designer turned account executive in the direct consumer industry for global companies such as: Bacardi & Co. (Mexico, USA), Mattel (Mexico), Kimberly Clark (Mexico), Colgate- Palmolive (Mexico, USA, Central America) and Coca-Cola Co. (Mexico), as well as major pharmaceutical names such as Janssen-Cilag, Shering-Plough, Bayer-Shering Pharma, Abbott Laboratories, among others.

Since childhood, she developed a natural interest in reading, poetry, painting and music. Her first book, Yearn: A Book on Life, is based on an essay she wrote from the book 'L'Erotisme' by Georges Bataille (French philosopher, 1897–1962). Given her knowledge across different industries and a peculiar upbringing, she found refuge in writing as a blogger.
