Carlos is a passionate audio geek and music enthusiast based in Vancouver, BC with high proficiency in proper gain staging, DSP and sound implementation for video games. He found a deep passion for sound design while enrolled in Professional Recording Arts, where he explored the endless possibilities of sampling, granular synthesis, FM and AM synthesis methods. Finding every slot available in his schedule to develop and master the craft of editing and enhancing audio, making him a good choice when looking for a sound editor for your indie film or mixing your that fresh new track you and your high school friends put together in your parents basement suite. Having some familiarity with different DAWs such as Logic Pro X, Ableton and Pro Tools, helps him understand the initial intention artists have when composing a song allowing him to have an accurate approach but also deliver a clear breakdown that can easily be replicated by the artist in future projects. He's also active in his local recording industry, and researching and exploring ambisonics/spatial audio and newest pieces of software for implementation of sound in videogames while he learns coding on his free time.
