Oyelowo Abdul-Quadri: Screenwriter and songwriter in Lagos, Nigeria.

It's been quite a long, tiring journey to where I am today. I began writing at 17 in 2020. I'm 20 now and 3 projects in. The journey so far has been nice and still lots more to go.

I began working on a new project last November. Elements of Horror, Thriller and Drama included and for the time inculcated my language and Nigerian Culture into it. I feel good about it.

I just really feel like I should be doing more on the side to immerse and educate myself on this Writing life but I don't really have an idea. Would love to learn cinematography because I want to direct my own projects one day but its a long shot in this present moment for me.

Nevertheless I'm grateful for where I am right now and hope everyone is having the best time and fun working on whatever they working on.

I also write song lyrics but that one is a stall way for now. Though it's nice to have the material on hand. Who knows maybe it could amount to something and be valuable in the future .

Keep your heads up no matter what. We all got this.

How do I get the proper networking for a script?

I’m not done with my project yet but I feel I need added partners to complete it

I signed up on stage32 yesterday. I'm 19 years old. I got a couple of projects I'm working on. I somewhat of a utility screenwriter. I mainly write Drama, Thrillers, Action... and some other on the side. Just wanna put it out here that I'm willing to learn as much as possible; you know like getting into a writing room and all.
