KIRAN MERCHANT: Director/Producer/Entrepreneur

Kiran is a multi-faceted artist/entrepreneur. An architect with passion for theater, film and television, whose journey spans over four decades, three continents and two oceans.

Kiran’s artistic credits as an Actor, Director and Producer include Theater, Film, TV and Advertising in the US, UK and India. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab of NYC, where he directed plays such as ‘Random act of kindness’, ‘Mahatma ’ and ‘Phyllis Wheatley: The African Muse’. He is currently partnering with Silk Road Rising Theater in Chicago to develop a new production for 2022.

In 2007, Kiran co-wrote, directed and produced feature film ‘QuarterLife Crisis’, a quirky romantic comedy about singles dating scene in NYC. QLC was released worldwide in 25 countries, as well as Showtime, Netflix and Amazon Prime. His acting credits include TV shows like The Sinner, God Friended Me, Law and Order, Blacklist and acclaimed films like 200 Cigarettes and Trust the Man.

Kiran is currently developing a feature film, "The Voice" - (AKA Much ado about Nancy) - A dramedy set in a small French Village.
