Budd Jackson is a screenwriter living in Los Angeles, CA. A native Michigander,
Budd graduated from Morehouse College, Atlanta, GA with a BA in Political
Science. Recently, Budd has turned his interests away from politic towards the
entertainment industry. Since moving to LA, Budd has become a member of the
Screen Actors Guild and has been working diligently master the craft of
screenwriting.
Budd has been a writer since the moment he could hold a pen, creating vivid
worlds and characters even from the sanctuary of his kindergarten. Budd draws
on his political knowledge when writing on his preferred topics, which range
from the Second Amendment to the Civil War. This last period is the focus of
Budd’s debut screenplay COVERT. This epic family drama deals with the first
black communities to settle in rural Michigan – it’s a powerful story whose
relevance reaches directly into our present lives. Thank you for your time and
