About Nich

A BFA graduate of the SUNY Purchase Dramatic Writing conservatory in 2012, Nich Esposito created and produced sketch comedy and short films in and around New York and Philadelphia through 2014.

He co-wrote "Vocabulary of the Mysteries," Audience Award winner at the 2014 Brooklyn Film Festival and Best Student Film Award winner at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. After moving to Los Angeles, he co-created, wrote, and produced the interactive cross-media "Makeson Drinxon Universe" comedy series from 2014-2018.

In early 2016 he began developing his absurd cave woman comedy short film passion piece , "speaking.," until its production in October 2019. "speaking." went on to feature in over seventeen different film festivals and marketplaces, including the '21 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner, winning eight awards and being nominated for many more.

"speaking." ended its festival run with a screening at the world famous TCL Chinese Theatre for Hollywood Comedy Shorts Fest ‘22, while Esposito is currently pitching his two new series “City Don’t Sleep” and "Sheep-ish" (Screencraft Comedy Comp quarterfinalist in 2020, Oxford Script Awards Official Select), and feature script “Thank You For Your Service" (Scriptapalooza quarterfinalist in 2021, Best Comedy Screenplay nominee at Austin Under the Stars 2021, Best Comedy Screenplay nominee at Portland New Alternative Voices 2021, Oxford Script Awards Official Select).
