I write and I twang guitars. Written lots of songs, music, a couple of stage musicals and half a dozen feature screenplays. And I’m an Aussie, based in Brisbane, just above the Gold Coast. I write outwardly, from the heart, and often my screenplays revolve around music, as does my latest, "Cadenza", which has nabbed top rankings in screenplay comps in California, Paris, Europe and elsewhere.
My goal is to be part of a new renaissance of classic film making, unshackled from the burdens quotas and agendas, where great stories and memorable characters rule.
Unique traits: Collect and play lots of guitars. Write music and songs as well. Also, love mountain bike riding, and horse riding.
Cadenza Budget: $10M - $30M | Thriller In 1955 Paris, a roguish violin shop owner uncovers an old family curse that threatens the life of his new love. To save her, he must find two lost Stradivarius violins, while being forced to reassess his value system.
