PreShus Lee, a vibrant filmmaker originally from Jersey City, now proudly rooted in Durham, NC, has a story as dynamic as her films.
Navigating life's twists and turns, PreShus has faced formidable health challenges, including a 25-year battle with Hidradenitis Suppurativa and two heart attacks leading to heart failure. Yet, far from being defined by adversity, she's emerged as a spirited advocate for those grappling with similar health journeys.
In her roles as a patient partner for IDEOM and as a newly appointed ambassador for The Association of Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Inflammatory Diseases, PreShus channels her passion for health advocacy into tangible support and awareness-building initiatives.
In 2019, PreShus took her first directorial step with "Chapter 32: From Tragedy to Triumph," a documentary chronicling her resilience post-heart attack at 32. The film's impact resonated globally, premiering at renowned festivals such as the Hayti Film Festival in Durham and the Toronto International Women Film Festival.
Transitioning from storytelling to business leadership, PreShus co-founded SutchiLee Productions, LLC in July 2020, where she serves as Co-CEO. Under her stewardship, the company champions a "New Standard of Excellence" in brand management, media production, and entertainment.
Whether in the director's chair or advocating for health equity, PreShus Lee continues to inspire with her unwavering dedication and creative vision.
