I am originally from Kingston, Jamaica, and was trained as a classical singer while I attended High School. I also sang with large choirs. I won a bronze medal for singing a solo in the annual school singing festival in 1975.
In America from 1992 to 2003 I founded and directed a folkloric group, The Afro-Caribbean American Singers , twenty strong. This group was compromised of several Caribbean American Nationals and American singers. . I produced several performances from including directing several plays. Helped with video editing and scouted for talent. I also am a playwright, poet and songwriter.
