Alireza Beigi is an Iranian filmmaker, editor and writer.was born in Tehran. He started his cinematic activity by directing in 2019 with the production of his first short film Cemetery. Two years later he made the film "Seam". Both films were edited after a long time. He has compiled ten short screenplays, three poetry books, two feature stories and several short films.Beigi has been interested in filmmaking since he was a child, but unfortunately did not get the opportunity to study academically. Later, became interested in cinema by watching the movies of the greats of cinema. He also editing short films. In February 2016, he became a member of Bamdad International House and is currently studying editing with Ms. Hayedeh Safiari. He has conducted a directing workshop with Asghar Farhadi in Bamdad.He won the Golden Wolf for Seam at the Rome Film Festival and also won Best Director for the first film at the Rome Film Festival for The Cemetery
