A teenage girl and her mother are stalked by a homicidal murderer till a accident happen when they end up in a dormant comatose till the year 2150. As the two reawakens and takes their time to get to know the future, it gets worse when the Sydney's Slasher wakes up to finish what he's started.

SYNOPSIS:

There is a homicidal murderer who has been caught is taken to the hospital before being taken into custody, and he’s ready to break free and kill again. Selene Anderson, a young teenage girl loves being popular but her life has been destroyed when the Sydney's Slasher named Matthew Creepers killed her friends.

When she arrives at the hospital with the FBI agents to take Matthew into custody, Matthew breaks out, killed the agents, and catches after Selene and her mother Lori who is a lead doctor in the same hospital. Selene and Lori quickly attempts to lure Matthew into a room where they trapped him, restrain him and put him to sleep. But an accident happens when an advanced sleeping compound sets off, and the three ends up in a dormant comatose state till the year 2150.

In the year 2150, a team of security officers led by their chief found the three bodies and takes them to an island off the coast where a large private school is set. When the two reawakens, they meet new people who are students and their school principal named Clover. During at nighttime, Selene and a young student named Erik are acquainted and they’re having some fun till they’re shocked seeing that Matthew has returned. After hearing that Matthew has killed the team of security officers and injuring the chief, Clover and Lori begins to round up the students to get them somewhere safe. Selene plans turn herself in to fight Matthew alone as Lori and Erik found the chief, and the group heads back to school where the chief makes a phone call to the police from the mainland for help.

Matthew reawakens again, releases a hybrid monster called the space hybrid to hunt down the group and uses its self-destruct weapon to set the time bomb for the island to be destroyed. Selene, Erik, Lori and the chief are worried that the rest of the students are gone and they are the only survivors left, now as they rely on the helicopter to arrive they must have faith that they’ll escape the island. As the helicopter arrived and the space hybrid is defeated, Lori slows down Matthew to save Selene as the last three escapes the island via helicopter. Lori and Matthew fights to the death till Matthew finally kills Lori with his final strength and vanishes quickly before the time bomb goes off, destroying the whole island.

With Selene, Erik and the chief as the last survivors believes that Matthew is gone along with the island, Selene is depressed that her mother is gone too but on the bright Erik will be the only person to take care of her, and later they begin to start over together. Selene and Erik are happy together, as for the chief who might’ve got a bad feeling that Matthew might’ve survived the explosion, he is assigned with the LAPD to be ready for him as Matthew who really did survived continues what he'd started.
