Keldrick T. Mobley studied drama and improvisational comedy with Laughing Gas (South Florida’s oldest improv troupe), film production, journalism (receiving the FCCAA Best Humor award in 2001) and English before attending the innovative Creative Writing for Entertainment Bachelor of Fine Art program at Full Sail University. It was there he honed his talent for writing film, television and gaming. It is his intention to expand his outreach to a greater audience by crafting powerful and dynamic works for multiple formats. He is working on the sequel to his debut novel titled Lions For a Day: The Shepherds Resignation due for completion in the near future and is shopping his original screenplay titled Skater Boy to various outlets. Skater Boy has helped place Keldrick in the top fifteen percent of screenwriters in the world thanks to his 2016 entry into the Academy Nicholl screenwriting competition and quarter finals for the Page Awards that same year. He is also currently working on another screenplay tentatively titled Cracker Day along with an original web series titled Neon Noir (pre-production). His original short, How to Throw Like a Girl, is also currently making rounds in competitions across the glove
Keldrick started his creative consulting business One One Nine with the hopes to nurture future creatives and give them an edge when competing in the film industry. He also teaches a free creative writing class each month for inner city residents that he hopes will inspire them to look for creative ways to express themselves.
