Sh’Kia Augustin

Sh'Kia Augustin is a writer, actor, and producer based in Los Angeles. She's originally from small-town rural Oakland, Florida, so she's a southern girl at heart. Her writing journey began in college during her tenure as the President of the Black Student Union where she co-wrote and directed a stage play titled "The Makings of a Man: Penis Monologues," which was performed in front of the entire student body. Since then, her pilot scripts have placed in various screenplay competitions, including as a Quarterfinalist in Screencraft. She has written and produced three web series, including a comedy titled "Kinfolk," which was recently selected to be screened at the Los Angeles Black Film Festival.
