GALAXY HUNTERS

GALAXY HUNTERS
By Rick Jay Glen

GENRE: Sci-fi, Animation
LOGLINE:

When a veteran agent and his rookie partner discover suspicious details surrounding his family’s death, they abandon their assignment and become fugitives to uncover the shadow operations of a Galactic Corps.

SYNOPSIS:

Class-A “Hunter” agent, Wes Franklin, returns to active duty after his family is killed in an attempt on his life. His former partner transferred to another assignment. During his briefing with Admiral Graud, he's introduced to his new partner. A young, brilliant, academic agent, right out of the academy, Laura "L" K'Le, whose by-the-book attitude gets under Wes' skin, along with her eagerness to express her expertise on damn near everything. Before prepping for their new assignment, Admiral Graud asks "L" to break protocol, and report to him directly before finishing her report.

They’re off to a rough start when Wes begins pulling rank, hazing, and intimidating her. She remains focused on her mission, while looking for ways to build a rapport. He drags her through unconventional investigations and unlawful tactics with uncooperative suspects. They struggle to get along as their mission leads them to pursue the truth about the galactic-sized corruption they’re about to uncover.

I like the logline, Rick Jay Glen (and of course the poster!). You're just missing the inciting incident. "After ______________, a veteran agent and his rookie partner abandon their assignment and become fugitives to uncover the shadow operations of the galactic corps."

Loglines are single sentence sales pitches. We’re in development. So while I appreciate the reminder in structure, it’s sort of redundant.

Nevertheless, I added the inciting incident just to appease your passion for order. lol

Thanks for the like, Maurice!

You're welcome, Rick Jay Glen. I agree that loglines are single sentence sales pitches. I think the inciting incident will help you attract producers, investors, etc.
