Roger Burlinson

I am founder & Managing Director of Mediapack Ltd.

I'm a factual Producer, Director and Film Maker with a specialism in sport and outdoor lifestyles (adventure sports not hunting etc). I have over twenty years experience in the production business, working as a Producer and Self Shooting Director. I mostly work with sports governing bodies, local authorities and special interest groups but I also work with businesses and commercial brands.

I've produced the majority of high end content for British Canoeing since 2010, including during the London Olympics. I've been accredited media at Olympic, World Championship and European Championships level. I've filmed with (among others) Steve Backshall, Michaela Strachan, David Coulthard, Murray Walker, Sebastian Coe, Louise Goodman, Eugene Laverty, Terry Grant and Jodie Kidd.

I have developed a sub-specialism within the overall adventure sports world as a leading producer of canoeing and kayaking content and this remains one of my favourite activities to work with. The fluidity of movement, the landscapes, the people, the sheer variety of different disciplines, the wildlife. It's all there.

At heart, I'm a story teller, so the tools I use are there simply to serve the production. Yes, I love my cameras but what they capture is more important to me.
